Consultant healthcare technology (fulltime)
As the number of projects for hospital design increases, we are seeking an experienced consultant healthcare technology. You will work in a team with other Simed and external specialists to plan, design and equip hospitals in various countries. Your role is advising internal and external parties on medical technology and the accompanying specifications and budgets. The consultant healthcare technology is part of the Consultancy department and works closely with the commercial and operational departments.
In this job:
- You advise customers and Simed staff on the use of medical technology in hospitals and the associated investments
- You will work in a team with other Simed and external specialists in designing hospitals
- You play a role in the acquisition of projects for equipping, design-only or turn-key delivery of hospitals
- You work internationally and travel regularly for a couple of days at a time
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Has a degree in biomedical technology or other relevant degree at a university or comparable level
- Extensive experience in planning and specifying medical equipment and advising in this field in relation the medical functionality required and the customers needs
- Familiar with developments in the field of medical technology and related information and communication technology
- Is self driven and entrepreneurial
- Is flexible and communicative with commercial skills
- Has excellent language skills in English, both orally and in writing. Proficiency in the Dutch or other languages (French, Spanish) is advantageous
- Can work with MS Office applications
